48 Hours in Purgatory Re-opens Shooting

The upcoming film "48 Hours in Purgatory" is going to re-open shooting for a week of pickups and re-shoots.

"Sometimes when screening rough cuts you notice places where the story is trampled under the flow of information," says writer/director Jason Armstrong. "This is an especially common issue with a film like 48 Hours, where there are SO many subtle, but stirring plot-lines. And you just have to go back and get the shots that tie the story together. The story should NEVER suffer in order to avoid inconveniencing the cast and crew."

While the film is going to head back to the "lot" for a week, post-production continues, thanks to the film's three tiered design. There is also rumor that the official cast list may be seeing some changes, particularly in the department of unexpected additions. This is probably connected to the viral marketing campaign that is gearing up for late March/early April.
