Richard Beattie has worked as a screenwriter in the Canadian film business for twenty years, primarily out of Toronto. He is also a playwright, novelist and short-story writer.
Beattie has a dozen credits ranging from the psychological drama COLD COMFORT, adapted from the stage and for which he won a Genie award, to PROM NIGHT 4, to the children's adventure GRIZZLY FALLS.
