American Pie: Book of Love

Susan Somers, from Skyes Crescent in Winstanley, won an all expenses paid trip to Vancouver to star as an extra in American Pie: Book of Love – the seventh movie in the franchise.

Susan, assistant manager of Wigan Pier nightclub and a volunteer at Wigan and Leigh Hospice, still can't quite believe she'll be appearing in the film.

"...I thought it was prank call so I called HMV's head office and they told me it was true – I was ecstatic. In that same week I'd won £10 on the Lottery as well..."
