Published on: September 25, 2008Michelle Yeoh talks to MovieHole about her new role in "Babylon AD". Yeoh plays Sister Rebecca, the kickass guardian of Aurora, a young victim smuggled by a mercenary named Toorop (Vin Deisel). Yeoh talks about being a leading stunt woman in hollywood, Vin Diesel and "Babylon AD" director Mathieu Kassovitz. Babylon AD is out in theaters.
"...Honestly my greatest admiration goes to the stunt people. These are guys you’d never know, or hear about but their commitment to what they did was incredible. I mean I worked with Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Chow Yun-Fat and they were very encouraging and supportive of what I did but the ones who really inspired me were the lesser knowns..."

Vin Diesel teams with French director in Babylon
Published on: August 26, 2008The Boston Herald has posted an article on 'Babylon AD'. Directed by Mathieu Kassovitz, the film stars Vin Diesel as mercenary Toorop. His latest assignment has him smuggling a young woman named Aurora from a convent in Kazakhstan to New York City. Diesel said he enjoyed working on a film with a lot of action, that was handled by a French auteur.
"...I have worked within the confines of Hollywood and rarely get the opportunity to branch out, and this was one of those opportunities. I got to try something that was of the European mind..."
