Bangkok got a little dangerous
Published on: September 09, 2008The Los Angeles Times has posted an article on 'Bangkok Dangerous'. Directed by the Pang Brothers and starring Nicolas Cage, the film opened number one at the box office this week. During filming, martial law was announced when Thailand's military abolished the Parliament. Producer William Sherak talks about the experience.
"...About 20 minutes before the tanks rolled, the police detail we were using in the scene we were shooting pulled out, I said, 'What are you doing? You’re paid for!' The head of police said to me, 'We can’t stay. It’s martial law.'..."
