Dennis Harvey of Variety has written a favorable review of Stuart Townsend's directorial debut, Battle in Seattle. Harvey goes onto say Townsend "aquits himself well, if not outstandingly, as both writing and directing newbie." Playing Dale, Woody Harrelson has "some especially good moments" and Rade Serbedzija as Dr. Maric is a "memorable presence."
