Battle in Seattle

All U.S. rights to Battle in Seattle have been aquired by ThinkFilm. The announcement came this morning after a bidding war among four distributors. ThinkFilm came out on top, closing the deal at approximately $2 million dollars for Stuart Townsend's directorial debut. This is the second major deal for ThinkFilm at TIFF, the first being Helen Hunt's directorial debut "Then She Found Me," picked up for just under $2 million.
