Andy Garcia, George Lopez and Piolín yap about 'Beverly Hills Chihuahua'
Published on: October 07, 2008The Los Angelas Times has talked to "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" voice over stars George Lopez, Andy Garcia, and Eddie Poilin Sotelo. The cast talks about meeting the dogs before they started filming and how loveable all the pooches are. They also go on to talk about why so many people signed onto the movie, what it was like to record their speaking parts, and the dogs of their own.
"...And I may be the first Chihuahua that cries in a movie. One tear! He's pretty stoic. That's a very expensive tear, by the way..."

The stars chat about their surprise of what trainers where able to get their four-legged co-stars to do. They also talk about how tricky it was working with animals and kids. "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" is out in theaters and stars the voices of A-listers like Drew Berrymore, Salma Hayek, Andy Garcia and more.
"...You have to be very patient. Working with dogs, you never know what they’re going to do. You have to be aware and you have to work for them. They’re the main characters. We’re just there to support them..."

George Lopez Talks About "Beverly Hills Chihuahua"
Published on: October 02, 2008George Lopez talks to About.com about his latest voice-over role as Papi in "Beverly Hills Chihuahua". Lopez chats about his own three chihuahua's, and the real dog who plays Papi - a resuced chihuahua from a shelter. Lopez also tells About.com about Drew Barrymore and Disney. "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" is released nationwide tomorrow, Friday October 3rd.
"...it's Disney and they always do movies that pull at your heartstring and this one's no different, and it was more of a romantic story than I imagined it to be when I was recording. You read the script initially, and then you go in there and you just read your pages. So when I saw the movie, I was impressed by the sweetness of Drew Barrymore's voice..."
