Pamela Anderson

Pamela Anderson

The Vancouver Island native, who was born on Canada Day in 1967, was famously discovered while attending a B.C. Lions football game. Dressed in a Labatts t-shirt, the bouncy blonde's image was transmitted onto the stadium's jumbotron and the (mostly male) crowd went wild. No fools they, Labatt's quickly signed her up as the company's "Blue Zone" girl. The campaign was so popular, a flood of commercials and advertising assignments soon followed. Hugh Hefner, sniffing out a good thing, offered Anderson her first Playboy magazine cover (she has since gone on to grace the cover five times - more than any other woman in the magazine's history). She moved to Los Angeles where she spent two seasons in the ABC television series Home Improvement before being catapulted to worldwide fame in the smash hit Baywatch (1989). After transitioning to the big screen in the action comedy Barb Wire, she returned to TV as the star of V.I.P. and, later, in the Fox comedy series Stacked. Pamela returns once again to the silver screen as the ditzy blonde Dee Twiddle in Blonde and Blonder.
