Vern Troyer lauded by director Terry Gilliam for acting brilliance
Vern Troyer, famed for his role of Mini Me in the Austin Powers franchise, applauds director Terry Gilliam at a press conference in Cannes. Troyer, who plays a key role Gilliam's latest film, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, was praised by the director for his acting talents. "I was getting really bored seeing Vern do silly comedies all the time," Gilliam said. "It was time we showed he's a brilliant actor."
