ANDRAS HAMORI (Producer) has worked with some of the world’s most celebrated directors on a string of films that have won recognition around the world. These include two Academy Award® nominations, three Golden Globe awards and major prizes at the Cannes, Venice, Berlin and Toronto Film Festivals. His films include “Big Nothingâ€� (2006) starring David Schwimmer and Simon Pegg, Lajos Koltai’s acclaimed “Fatelessâ€� (2005), Menno Meyjes’ “Maxâ€� (2002) starring John Cusack, “Owning Mahownyâ€� (2003) starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, Minnie Driver and John Hurt, “The 51st Stateâ€� (2001) starring Samuel L Jackson and Robert Carlyle, “Sunshineâ€� (1999) starring Ralph Fiennes and directed by Istvan Szabo which won Best Picture at the Canadian Academy Awards, and “eXistenZâ€� (1999) starring Jude Law and Jennifer Jason Leigh and directed by David Cronenberg. He also executive produced Jeremy Podeswa’s “Fugitive Piecesâ€� (2007), Lynne Ramsay’s “Morvern Callarâ€� (2002), Atom Egoyan’s “The Sweet Hereafterâ€� (1997) and David Cronenberg’s “Crashâ€� (1996).
