Lynne Stopkewich

Lynne Stopkewich has built a career out of sexual deviance...films about sexual deviance, that is. Her groundbreaking feature, Kissed, a touching tale about a young female necrophile, played the Cannes Director's Fortnight as well as Toronto, Sundance, and London Festivals. In controversial Suspicious River, she continued her investigation of sexual ambivalence through the character of a masochistic motel receptionist toying with prostitution. As a founder of Boneyard Film Company, Lynne has Produced, Associate Produced (Scott Smith's Falling Angels), and Executive Produced (Bissonette and Clark's Looking For Leonard) several features.
