Stephanie Symns

Stephanie Symns hails from the magical land of New Zealand, where she spent more time with sheep than people, which may account for her strange taste in cinema. Since relocating to Canada, Stephanie has produced the 7 x 1-hour true-crime documentary series Very Bad Men, currently airing on Global Television. She wrote and produced the 2006 Gemini-nominated 4 x 1-hour documentary series Girl Racers on North America's top female racecar drivers for Global and Biography US. She received a 2005 Gemini nomination for the documentary Drawing Out the Demons: A Film About the Artist Attila Richard Lukacs directed by David Vaisbord for Bravo! and TVOntario. She also Associate Produced Keith Behrman's award-winning feature debut Flower and Garnet which was released theatrically in 2003.
