    Film unit snaps up rights to Labine feature

    Variety has posted an article on 'Control Alt Delete'. Directed by Cameron Labine, the film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and has been picked up for distribution by Maximum. The dark comedy stars  Sonja Bennet,Alisen Down and Tyler Labine as Lewis, a man who begins to develop a physical attractrion to his computer.

    "...Labine casts brother Tyler Labine ("Reaper") as a stressed-out Y2K programmer who has the hots for hard drives. Sonja Bennet ("Young People Fucking") and Alisen Down ("Battlestar Galactica") co-star.

    Pic's producers Stephanie Symms and Lynne Stopkewich sealed the deal with Maximum senior execs Charlotte Mickie and Bryan Gliserman..."

  • Control Alt Delete to screen at VIFF

    'Control Alt Delete' will be screening at the 27th annual Vancouver Film Festival. Directed by Cameron Labine, the film stars Tyler Labine as man in love with his computer. He takes it one step further when he begins to have a sexual relationship with the hardware. The festival runs September 25th until October 10th and will feature over 350 films and shorts from over 60 countries around the world.

  • Toronto Film Festival Unveils Lineup

    Event boasts 500-plus guest list

    Variety is reporting on the Toronto International Film Festival's completed lineup. This year's festival is attracting some big names to the guest list, including Edward Nortnon for 'Pride and Glory.' Neil Burger’s 'The Lucky Ones' will have it's world premiere, and the Coen brother's 'Burn After Reading' will have it's North American Debut' during the Gala screenings. Canadian Cameron Labine's 'Control Alt Delete' will also debut.
