After winning academy awards for Slumdog Millionair, composer A.R. Rahman has allot to live up to. His next feature Couples Retreat, a Hollywood comedy about four Midwestern couples who embark on a journey to a tropical island resort only to discover that participation in the resort's couples therapy is not optional will carry the same kind of Indianized touch on music his fans expect.
“…though it’s a Hollywood movie, it will carry the Indianized touch on music.” Rahman admits “Or else, it wouldn’t be a meaningful endeavor for me over there...”
