Sandra Tomc

Sandra is a writer and associate professor of English at the University of British Columbia .

Apart from her work with her husband, Roger Larry (Tested, Knockin 'on Heaven's Door and Crossing), Sandra is working on her next screenplay, Pippa's Dream, which is in development with Telefilm .

Sandra's scholarly work, for which she has received a number of awards, focuses on American literature and contemporary popular culture.

Recent essays appear in Representations, The Cambridge Companion to Edgar Allan Poe , and American Quarterly.

Her current scholarly project is a book on the figure of the eccentric writer. She lives in Vancouver with Roger and their daughter Scarlett
