Synopsis
Roberta, an eleven-year-old girl with an overactive imagination is taken on a one-way, cross-country road trip by her murderous, alcoholic father- an out-of-work meat cutter- in search of his swindled inheritance. Fueled by greed and revenge, the unlikely pair embarks on a litany of killings, betrayals and arson, fleeing one crime and committing another. This terrifying and darkly funny tale has its surprising denouement in the nightmarish dreamland of the Nevada desert.
