• Tatum & Seyfried Head to Fort Bragg for ‘Dear John’ Premiere

  Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried will be traveling to Fort Bragg, NC later-on this month for the premiere of their upcoming romantic/drama Dear John. Along with best-selling author Nicholas Sparks, the three will sign autographs during a meet-and-greet and premiere the movie on January 23rd at the York Theater.
  
  Directed by Lasse Halstrom and based on the novel by best-selling author Nicholas Sparks, Dear John tells the story of John Tyree, a young soldier home on leave, and Savannah Curtis, the idealistic college student he falls in love with during her spring vacation. Over the next seven tumultuous years, the couple is separated by John's increasingly dangerous deployments. While meeting only sporadically, they stay in touch by sending a continuous stream of love letters overseas – correspondence that eventually triggers fateful consequences.

  Based on the novel by Nicolas Sparks, Dear John tells the story of an idealistic college student who meets a young solider on leave during her spring break, but their relationship is interrupted when he chooses to extend his tour following 9/11. They keep in contact through a series of letters and struggle to stay together despite the miles between them. The film stars Channing Tatum (G.I Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Fighting) and Amanda Seyfried (Chloe, Jennifer’s Body) and is directed by Lasse Hallström (Chocolat, The Cider House Rules). You can find Dear John in theaters on Febuary 5th, 2010.
