    Only 5 days until the filming of Death Warrior begins- the latest MMA film starring Georges St-Pierre, Keith Jardine, Anderson Sylva and MMA legend Hector Echavarria.

    The MovieSet crew has been fortunate enough to be granted complete access to go behind the scenes and talk to the technical crew, the actors, the production staff, and the stunt personnel throughout the entire production of the film.

    For MMA enthusiasts or anyone out there interested in the complete movie making process you are in the right place. Be sure and follow along as MovieSet correspondent Quinn Bender is tagging along for the entire filming of Death Warrior and providing you with a live stream (Live Death) directly from the set of the movie on March 16th, 17th, and 20th, 2009.

    For all the fans who have been checking in the last few days, MovieSet is continuing its live streaming coverage of Death Warrior as MMA superstar Georges St-Pierre will be filming his role in the movie on Friday March 20th!.

    MovieSet will be on set all day with a live stream to provide continuous live coverage of the event!  We already have several videos and stills from the set posted and you can check them out on our Death Warrior Sitelet.

    Death warrior is about an MMA fighter who is forced into a twisted, underground gambling ring in which he must fight to the death with other MMA fighters. GSP will be playing the role of Shaman.

    Only 3 more days until the start of MovieSet’s Live Death event!  If you haven’t already heard, MovieSet is going to be on the set of the movie “Death Warrior” providing Live Streaming Footage of the actors, stuntmen and crew as they film the movie on March 16th, 17th and 20th. It’s a very exciting time as you get to see your favorite MMA stars like you’ve never seen them before!

    We’ve already posted several videos leading up to the event so if you aren’t caught up on all the action you should check them out.

  • Death Warrior Dailies - Production Meeting with MMA Legend Hector Echavarria

    Only four more days until Death Live on the Set of Death Warrior. Be sure to follow along as MovieSet correspondent Quinn Bender has been busy on the set of Death Warrior documenting the progress of the film talking with the production team as they prepare to make this film as brutally violent as possible. 

    In this clip Quinn sits in on one of the final production meetings as Director Bill Cocoran talks to Hector Echavarria and the rest of the production staff about how he wants the film to be portrayed. "It's the horror of brutality rather than the fun and games of it".

    He assures us that Death Warrior is not trying to do Jackie Chan, this is a real happenstance kind of movie with weapons, blood, and horror and it is not be mistaken with something like Rumble in the Bronx.
