Bio

Montreal born and raised, Jonathan Shore's career path took a significant shift upon his arrival in Vancouver (nearly a decade ago). Shore originally travelled to the west coast in pursuit of work utilizing his degree in Commerce from McGill University. When he reached the coast, a close personal contact asked if he would consider taking a short-term position in Vancouver's burgeoning film Industry. From modest beginnings as a stock footage coordinator, Shore's experience in the B.C. film sector has grown to include senior involvement in over 60 film and television productions. Prior to joining Brightlight Pictures, Shore was Director of Post Production with Shavick Entertainment where he worked on projects such as Finder's Fee with James Earl Jones. Shore's industry experience includes acting as Post Supervisor and Associate Producer for feature films such as House of the Dead, White Noise; and most recently Because I Said So starring Diane Keaton. He has worked with noted actors such as Sir Ben Kingsley in Bloodrayne as well as Morgan Freeman and Kevin Spacey in Edison.

Associate Producer- Job Description

An individual who performs a limited number of producing functions delegated to her/him by a producer, under the direct supervision and control of that producer. The term may also refer to a person who would qualify as an executive producer of a project, but for the fact that (s)he acts on behalf of a production company which is subordinate to another one on that project.
