  • Interview: Four Christmases Director Seth Gordon

    Published on: January 29, 2009

Seth Gordon has taken some time out to talk about his latest film with Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon, 'Four Christmases'. The director talks about how he went from The King of Kong to a family film like this, his involvement with the script and his general interest and approach to directing. He also talks about the crew involved, his favorite part of filmmaking and his favorite films of all time. 'Four Christmases' is out in theaters now.

"...we all met and the script was good, but not great, and it had things that were broken, and we just worked really hard, the three of us, for a few months to get it to a place where we were excited to shoot it, and it wasn't easy. But what was wonderful was their attitude was so collaborative and so open, we would get together and I heard the two of them read the script probably a hundred times..."
