Corbin Bleu

Corbin Bleu is best known for his starring role as Chad Danforth in the award-winning and record-breaking Disney Channel Original Movies "High School Musical" and "High School Musical 2."

Recently, Bleu starred as a boxer turned double Dutch champion in the smash hit Disney Channel Original Movie "Jump In!" with Keke Palmer and his real-life father, David Reivers. Bleu also stars on the television series "Flight 29 Down." His television credits include guest starring roles on Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana," "ER," "The Amanda Show," "Cover Me" and "Malcolm & Eddie." Bleu starred in the feature film "Catch That Kid" and has appeared in "Galaxy Quest," "Mystery Men," "Family Tree" and "Soldier." His theatre credits include the Off-Broadway production of "Tiny Tim is Dead" as well as "Brothers of the Knight" with Debbie Allen, "Footloose" and "Grease."

Bleu is signed with Hollywood Records and his debut solo album, entitled "Another Side," was released on May 1. The album features the single "Push It to the Limit" from his movie "Jump In!" Bleu has spent the last few months on the road with the 42-city national concert tour of "High School Musical: The Concert," and in his own summer concert tour with Aly & AJ and Drake Bell.

Bleu was nominated for an NAACP Image Award for his role in "High School Musical," and was selected as one of Teen People's 25 Under 25, Teen Vogue's Young Hollywood stars, and as part of Entertainment Weekly's annual "Must List" as "Must Musical Prodigies."

Born in Brooklyn on February 21, 1989, Bleu began doing television commercials at age two, just like his dad, and started to appear in print ads by the time he was three years old. An avid dance performer, Bleu studied under Debbie Allen for two years and attended the prestigious L.A. County High School for Arts.

In his free time, Bleu loves to dance, box, listen to his iPod, and hang out with his friends. He lives in Los Angeles with his parents and younger sisters, Hunter, Phoenix and Jag.
