Sandra Echeverria

As the new "it" girl in entertainment, this rising Latin American star comes from Mexico where she is already a household name for starring in the title role of Telemundo's highest rated soap opera, "Marina." It was that role that got her noticed by the U.S. entertainment industry professionals and allowed her to make that cross over into the U.S. market.

Sandra Echeverria is making her big movie debut co-starring in the film, "Free Style" as the girlfriend to "High School Musical Star," Corbin Bleu. Sandra got her start in the U.S. with her first English speaking role in the film "Crazy" with Ali Larter, and a role in the independent film "Oakley 7."

The young starlet made her acting debut in 2002 on one of Latin Americas hit television series "Subete a mi moto". Winning the hearts of the young TV viewing audience, Sandra landed the lead role on a drama hit series called "Sonaras" starring opposite Patricia Bernal. As a teen Sandra won the first prize for her singing abilities in the Interscolar Festival, giving her the opportunity to be apart of a small musical theater production. While performing with other young talented children on the set of a musical production, a producer discovered her and put her in a band full of unknowns "Perfiles." Within a year, they had a hit single in Mexico and throughout Latin America. "Perfiles" disbanded but Sandra hopes to get back to singing in some way in the future.

Sandra counts stars such as Salma Hayek, Penelope Cruz and Catalina Sandino Moreno as her inspirations and currently resides in Los Angeles and Mexico City.
