Bio

DAVID DOERKSEN is President of Edge Entertainment Inc., and oversees all areas of development, production, financing and distribution. David has been the key advisor in planning Edge’s Entertainment film and television production activities since 1994, growing the Saskatoon-based company from its inauguration to a $25 million dollar year in 2002. David was also responsible for negotiating the development and production deal with Vancouver-based Waterfront Pictures, in which Edge Entertainment, Inc. is now a minority shareholder.

Most recently, David served as Executive Producer on Mary Higgins Clark Mystery Theatre – a series of television movies based on the best selling Mary Higgins Clark novels that include: “We’ll Meet Again,” “Before I Say Goodbye,” “He Sees You When You’re Sleeping,” “Crime of Passion” and the medical television series “Body & Soul”. Feature film credits include “I Downloaded a Ghost,” “The Impossible Elephant,” “Now & Forever,” “Dreamtime,” “Black Light,” “Summer of the Monkeys”.

David continually utilizes his diverse skills in corporate strategy, corporate and production financing within the motion picture and television industries striving for excellence and quality in each and every project that he involves himself in. David and his wife Leanne and their two children Amy and Anna reside in Saskatoon and Vancouver.
