Catch Corbin Bleu at the NYC premiere of 'Free Style'

The new Samuel Goldwyn film, Free Style, starring High School Musical sweetheart Corbin Bleu, just premiered last night in NYC! Corbin Bleu, Madison Pettis, Penelope Ann Miller and Sandra Echeverria were all in attendance. Take a look at the photos taken of the cast on the red carpet and at the Free Style After Party!

Free Style is an uplifting story about a young man and his determination to win a coveted spot on the Grand National motocross racing team. With the support of his loving mother, precocious little sister and new girlfriend, Cale proves against all odds that he has the heart, the willpower and the courage to never give up on his dream.

You can see Free Style in theaters October 9th.

USA Today has posted an item on 'Free Style' star Corbin Blue.He insists he has no time for girlfriends, even though gossip sites have linked him to many young starlets. His father appeared as his father in Free Style, and will also appear in the new High School Musical film. When talking about that franchise, he says that they

Miller revs up for motocross

Penelope Ann Miller has joined "High School Musical" star Corbin Bleu in Rigel Entertainment's motocross action-drama movie "Free Style." Previously titled "Metal Birding," the film, which began lensing in November in Vancouver, also has a new director in William Dear, who replaced Jeff Woolnough ("Taken," "Battlestar Galactica"). No reason was cited by Rigel for the change. Additionally, real-life motocross star Grant Langston and Sandra Echeverria have joined the cast, which includes Matt Bellefleur and Madison Pettis. The coming-of-age story centers on a young motocross racer (Bleu) who aspires to win the Amateur National Championships while struggling to support his family. Miller will play Jeannette, a single working mom to one of the teenage racers who strives to provide for her family while studying full-time to become a nurse. Langston guest stars as the racing champion that Bleu's character and his rival (Bellefleur) looks up to. Echeverria will play Bleu's girlfriend. Rigel is producing in association with Up North Entertainment. Executive producing is Rigel's John F.S. Laing and David Doerksen, Jim O'Grady of Waterfront Pictures and Michael Emanuel of Canal Street Films. Randy James of James /Levy Management, Blueman's David Reivers and Donald Paul Pemrick and Dean Fronk of Pemrick/Fronk Casting also are executive producing. Miller, who recently completed production on the indie drama "Saving Grace," will be seen next in the upcoming comedy "Blonde Ambition" for Sony. She is repped by APA and Untitled Entertainment. Shooting on motocross movie Free Style gets underway in Vancouver next month, telling a tale of "perseverance and sacrifice set amidst the physically demanding and visually spectacular world of motocross." Bleu will portray a motocross racer who dreams of winning the Amateur National Championships, but must juggle his passion for the sport while struggling to support his family. Jeff Woolnough ("Taken," "Battlestar Galactica") helms from a script by Jeffrey Nicholson and Joshua Leibner. Rigel is producing in association with Up North Entertainment. Executive producers include Rigel's John F.S. Laing, David Doerksen and Jim O'Grady of Waterfront Pictures and Michael Emanuel of Canal Street Films. Randy James of James/Levy Management, Blueman Inc.'s David Reivers, and Donald Paul Pemrick and Dean E. Fronk of Pemrick/Fronk Casting also are exec producing the project. Pic starts lensing in November in Vancouver. Rigel has previously produced Stuart Gordon's "Stuck," "Blonde and Blonder" and "When a Man Falls in the Forest." Once "Style" is complete, Bleu will likely return to co-star in the third installment of the "High School Musical" franchise, which Disney will release theatrically next year. In January, he starred in "Jump In!" a Disney Channel pic that bowed to strong ratings.
