Sven Kamm
Sven Kamm is a two time Emmy Award winner who studied Film at the University of California at San Diego. His screenplay 'The Art of Dying' was a finalist in the Academy Awards Nicoll Screenwriting Fellowship as well as The Chesterfield Film Company Writer's Film Project and the Sundance Screenplay Competition. Sven is a successful editor and has worked on many television shows including
'Behind the Music' and 'Talk Soup' and 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous'. Sven while working for Public Television in Los Angeles he won two Emmy Awards for editing the documentaries 'Farewell to Farms' and 'High Expectations.'
He wrote and directed 'Blinders' Starring Heather Marie Marsden ( American Summer) Blinders is an official selection in eight film festivals including Raindance (London International Film Festival), The Beverly Hills Film Festival, The Bridge 2007 International Film Festival and was nominated for two awards by the Hollywood Film Festival. 'Blinders' was also picked 'Best of the Festival' for the NYC Downtown Short Film Festival. His other films are 'The Greenhouse Effect' and 'Letters from Darya' shot, on location, in Prague.
Sven currently has two screenplays in development; 'The Reach Around' tarring Heather Marie Marsden (American Summer) and 'The Art of Dying' starring Edward Furlong (Terminator, American History X).
