EVANNA LYNCH made her acting debut in the role of Luna Lovegood in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix." A native of Ireland, Lynch was already a dedicated Harry Potter fan when she won the role of Luna over 15,000 other young hopefuls through an open casting call in early 2006. Lynch's affinity for the offbeat character caused her to stand out among the thousands of other girls and she ultimately landed the coveted role. She will again play Harry Potter's free-spirited friend in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Parts 1 and 2."
