EMMA WATSON TALKS 'HALF-BLOOD PRINCE'
Published on: April 28, 2009"Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince" is the sixth venture through J.K. Rowling's universe of witchcraft and wizardry. Initially scheduled for a November 2008 release, the film will finally be on the big screen this coming July. Directed by David Yates, who helmed the previous Potter film and who is currently shooting "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," the movie finds the teenage wizards in a splintered world of increasing darkness. Emma Watson talked with Wizard about the making of "Half-Blood Prince," the near decade she's spent as part of the franchise, and the plans she has for her post-Potter life.
"...I never realized that I was going to be famous. It never really occurred to me. I was just auditioning for parts and I just loved the character so much. I felt that I knew how to play her and I could be her, and Chris Columbus gave me a lot of confidence..."
