Producer
Brian Hartman
Bio
As a producer he has completed six US feature films, three major foreign productions and several documentaries. He has led projects in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Hawaii, Las Vegas and Canada and has shot in dozens of other cities throughout America as well. From being involved in many different types of projects, Brian's strength in the physical production process is considered much higher than the industry standard for a producer.
Beginning his career as a location scout for Silence of the Lambs in 1991, Brian has since worked through virtually every department, totaling over forty five feature films.
Prior to producing feature films however, Brian gathered additional production experience from working on over one hundred and thirty national commercial shoots, including Mcdonald's, Pepsi, Coke, and American Express. He has also been involved with dozens of television projects, and a few music videos.
In 2006 Brian left Los Angeles and set up camp in his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and co-founded Smithfield Street Productions. The company produces its own work, as well as supplying support and consultation for the many studio projects filming in the region.
