Before Robert Pattinson hit A-list celebrity stardom with the role of Edward Cullen in Twilight, he stared in How To Be, a 2008 independent film directed by Oliver Irving. The wry coming-of-age comedy centers around Art, a twenty-something-year-old who gets dumped by his girlfriend, moves back in with his parents and hits a quarter-life crisis. Art uses inheritance money to indulge in retail and new age therapies only to end up enlisting the help of an eccentric self-help guru. His painfully funny journey to define his existence brings to the fore the dysfunctional relationship he has with his parents and the importance in his life of his odd-ball friends. How To Be comes out on DVD on November 17, just three days before the theatrical release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon!
