Synopsis
When Texas Executive Producer Kent Fuselier invites 5 kids in real life to a known haunted hotel in Texas against a cash offer of 1/2 a million dollars to survive 3 nights with his production crew, something foul is afoot. Join us in Texas for a real-world experiment with some of the top physicists, producers, players, and just some random incredibly lucky (or possibly unlucky) kids for this adventure. We regret that a temporary setback has delayed production when one of our top producers was found dead in his North Galveston condo from a single gunshot wound to the head. Considering the pleas of thousands of fans to continue or the consideration of a single dead man, Executive Producer Kent Fuselier is re-instating the original declared offer of one hundred thousand US dollars to each of 5 candidates selected from our FaceBook link to join us in Jefferson Texas for three nights of terror in a hotel with over one thousand documented sitings of supernatural activity. We will be unfolding the story of a simple Texas town from different viewpoints each week on MovieSet while we prepare to engage the primary feature film and research project for our main event.

Sleepy, Sleepy Jefferson Nights

We're closing up day 4 of shooting here in Jefferson, Texas. We're still just shooting our pre-production reels right now for MovieSet.com but learning a lot about the town and everything going on with the community.
All the news from the set: my coproducer Erik Lundquist is currently in Dallas shooting "So you think you're a poker star?" for NBC and I chatted with the executive producer of that series and she seemed favorable to pre-releasing the episodes as they come out on MovieSet.com, so you may be seeing that up here soon!

I ran across a girl named Temple Mims in need of a documentary to cover her work in Texas and Haiti yesterday, so we're seeing if I can't break loose from this set long enough to get to Haiti for a couple of weeks and shoot a film down there.
As always, that content is here up on MovieSet as well - 'Homeless and Handicapped in Haiti'. We've been preparing a web-series for release of print/video here on MovieSet.com. The show is called 'The Misinformed' and is here at MovieSet.com as well.
The show 'The Misinformed' is set entirely on three college campus locations, but I currently only have two cast, so anyone with ideas with a third location that would like to work on the print or video sides of this satire/parody news show is welcome to comment on this blog and tell me where to go with this. You can look here to get an idea of what kind of content we're looking for on that show. Here is a photo of Temple Mims and her campaign she started at age 16 is called 'Crutches across Texas', but that was before she knew us... Lets help her out and extend this offering to 'Crutches across the US' or since this report is hosted in Canada, why not 'the world'?
If you have a desire to help out - click on the link above and let her know you're out there along with a donation to Mercy Ships in her care to help us get these crutches refurbished before we send them down. She's already had one shipment go out and when I met her she was collecting another shipment for a total of 1,000 to date.
We are trying to work out a sponsorship with the 'Go Pro' HD camera company for 'Sleepy Jefferson Nights' to add 5 HD wearable cameras to some of our producers when we're shooting the principal photography for that film, and if that works out this will be the first film in history shot with wearable cameras.
We're doing a lot of tests with them right now to see on the feasibility of this, but right now I'm just speechless with the quality and remarkable abilities of these cameras. For those of you that don't know what or who this camera is, search Vimeo.com for 'go pro' and find people putting this stellar camera on just about anything right now.
All the news thats news from Texas, hopefully the title of this report from down here makes a bit more sense. We've got an awful lot going on for our fans right now. This is incredibly exciting - thanks for all of your support here on MovieSet.com, the only place on the planet to catch up with us.

'Sleepy Jefferson Nights' begins releasing docu-drama on MovieSet
Published on: February 23, 2010
As promised in the film's premise, 'Sleepy Jefferson Nights' is now in principal photography of docu-drama interviews from the small Texas town where the crew will soon find itself shooting the main feature in just a few months. Movieset.com will be archiving local haunted stories of Jefferson, Texas where over one thousand reported sightings of the supernatural have taken place in recent memory. The interviews feature both believers and non-believers in the local community. This town has left lasting impressions with its many fans through the years and these past few weeks have been no exception.
At the time the main movie shoots later this year, the entire crew's assets will back a research project and feature film shot over the course of three nights in one of the haunted buildings using five students pulled from its own fan base.Executive producer Kent Fuselier made this statement, "We don't personally believe or disbelieve whats going on out here. We have no opinion as to the validity of the stories, only to say we haven't seen anything as of yet. We are not paranormal researchers, but rather young filmmakers so we anticipate bringing on a well-known paranormal team from Austin, Texas to help out during the main project. Also I have 2 physicists on staff and we're furnishing the equipment and supplies they need to get started on the main film."
"Our plans are to outfit the building we choose with network cameras and allow our fans to watch the filming of the main movie while they collaborate in chat rooms. We feel having thousands of eyes on the film site will help keep something from happening that we miss on the ground," stated Fuselier.
Fuselier closed the interview commenting, "From there, we'll enter distribution with a feature film of the event. As well, we will be including alternate streams of the network cameras to the DVD and an overlay switch so you can watch the movie and see the internet chat and commentary as it was happening live at the time of filming. This is a unique time in history where a movie isn't going to be just a movie anymore."
