Are you itching to see the film adaptation of the popular video game franchise The King of Fighters? Sadly the film doesn’t come out until some time in 2010, but to tide you over in the mean time, check out the new promo trailer for the film.

In the film, the last surviving descendants of three legendary clans are continuously transported to other dimensions to test their martial arts skills against an evil force that seeks to invade and infect the real world.

Directed by acclaimed action director Gordon Chan, The King of Fighters stars Maggie Q (New York, I Love You), Sean Faris (Never Back Down), Ray Park (G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra), Will Yun Lee (Elektra) and David Leitch (Fetch).

‘King of Fighters’ Details – Ray Park talks Rugal Bernstein

Finally, some new details about the King Of Fighters Movie have emerged in the form of an interview with actor/stuntman Ray Park. King of Fighters is a stylish, high-octane, live action feature based on the highly successful video game franchise, in which the last surviving descendants of three legendary clans are continuously transported to other dimensions to test their martial arts skills against an evil force that seeks to invade and infect the real world. In the film, Park plays the villain Rugal Bernstein. You may recognize Park from such roles as G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra’s Sneak Eyes, X-Men’s Toad and Star Wars: Episode I’s Darth Maul. In this interview, Park talks about trying to stay true to the game, and how his background in gymnastics and martial arts prepared him for the stunt work that needed to be done for the film.
