Eugene Byrd
ugene has been acting in film and television for over twenty years. Film credits include Jim Jarmusch's Dead Man, Barry Levinson's Sleepers and Lift, an independent film about the fine art of high-end shoplifting that debuted at Sundance and aired on Showtime in 2002. Eugene also played Wink, the duplicitous promoter friend of Jimmy, played by Eminem, in "8 Mile." He's starred in the independent films Confess and Buds for Life (which he also co-produced) and co-stars in Armada Film's One Point Zero. He was a series regular in NBC's "Crossing Jordan" and has guest starred in the television series "ER", "The Ghost Whisperer", "Without a Trace", "Shark" and has a recurring role on the hit NBC series "Heroes."
