Fredrik Carlstrom
Since relocating from Sweden in 2000, leaving a successful career as creative director/founding partner in the advertising industry, he has done coverage for Academy Award winning producer Edward Saxon (Adaptation, Philadelphia, Silence of the Lambs), produced numerous independent features and directed the occasional commercial. He is a frequent lecturer and serves on the film panel for the New York State Council on the Arts. He recently produced Destricted, a series of short films directed by acclaimed artists including Matthew Barney, Larry Clark and Sam Taylor-Wood which premiered at 2006 Sundance Film Festival. He heads up Third Factory in New York, where he lives.
