Role as Painter Seroff ‘Un-retired' Mueller-Stahl

The Kitsap Sun has posted an article about the making of 'Local Color'. Director George Gallo talks about casting celebrities on such a small budget. He also mentions how he talked the great German actor Armin Mueller-Stahl out of retirement.

"Gallo called Mueller-Stahl's agent, but was told he had retired to Germany, and wasn't interested in acting any more. But the director got his number and gave him a call anyway."
