'Married Life' comes to Plimoth

Ira Sachs 'Married Life' will be headed to Massachusetts along with star Chris Cooper. The film follows the story of two men driven to villainy by their desire for one woman. The screening is part of a fundraiser for the Linn Theatre at Plimoth Plantation. They're trying to buy a new 35mm projector so they can show foreign and independent films.

“The studios primarily play to the 16- to 17-year-old male mentality, and I’m not so interested in that,” Cooper said. “My choices have always tried to get the older folks back to the theater and back to watching movies. My choices are, hopefully, a little more mature.”
