Married Life

The Orlando Senetinel has posted an interview with 'Married Life' star Chris Cooper. They discuss how in the past, he's been typecast as a millitary man. He says he no longer wants to play those parts, and wants to continue to challenge himself by playing various roles. Of his role in Ira Sachs' 'Married Life'

"Cooper used Married Life as a way of "reminiscing about my parents' and grandparents' relationships," marriages from an earlier era in a movie about marriage and murder. Married Life is also about movies about marriage from the 1940s and '50s, how they were depicted on screen in "the good ol'days."
