Married Life

The Age has posted an Interview with 'Married Life' director Ira Sachs. Set in the 1940's, the film features many characters smoking, a lot. Although we may rarely see actors smoking on screen anymore, it was quite natural for the time period.

"...You don't get into too much trouble if it's appropriate for the story and the characters. Back then, people smoked while they were giving birth..."
