My Blueberry Nights

The Brisbain Times has posted an article interviewing "My Blueberry Nights" director Wong Kar Wai, and singer/actress Norah Jones. The article tells the story of how Jones became involved with the film and why he just had to have her. The film also stars Jude Law, David Strathairn, Rachel Weisz, Natlie Portman and Chan Marshall.

Aced Magazine has review 'My Blueberry Nights'. The film was just released on DVD and marks Wong Kar Wai's English language directorial debut. The film stars singer Norah Jones, Jude Law,Rachel Weisz and Natalie Portman.

The Sun-Sentinel has posted an article on Wong Kar Wai in honor of the 'My Blueberry Nights' DVD release. Originaly printed in the Los Angeles Times, It's an interesting retrospective on the celebrated director's body of work.

The film stars Norah Jones as a young woman who travels across America and meets various characters along the trip. Natalie Portman, Rachel Weisz, Jude Law and Chan Marshall each have memorable performances in the film.

AOL Entertainment has posted an interview with 'My Blueberry Nights' star Norah Jones. This was the first film role for the 'Come Away With Me' singer as well as director Wong Kar Wai's first english language film. She decided to be in the film to have a new experience, and says working with Wong Kar Wai helped her gain confidence.

"He makes films like a jazz musician," says Jones, who didn't see a script until just a few weeks before shooting. "I just had to blindly trust him."

My Blueberry Nights opens in Vancouver May 16th.

Wong Kar Wai's first English language feature 'My Blueberry Nights' will open in Toronto on May 9th, and Vancouver on May 16th. The marks singer Norah Jones debut performance in a film, and co stars Jude Law, Natalie Portman Rachel Weisz. Jones plays Elizabeth, a young woman takes a soul-searching journey across America to resolve her questions about love while encountering a series of offbeat characters along the way.

When Norah Jones was cast as the lead in My Blueberry Nights, the English language debut of maybe my favorite living director, Wong Kar-wai, I was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Playback STL has just posted an aricle about 'My Blueberry Nights'. The film stars Norah Jones in her on screen debut. The film also marks director Wong Kar Wai's first foray into English language filmmaking.

"I did this film because I wanted a great experience," Jones explains about her decision to take part in it while on a break from recording and touring. Hopefully this great experience will open her career up to even more possibilities"
