The 1939 classic went on to become one of his most celebrated dance dramas which explored how obsession, pride and spite creep into the rosy bubble of love. Its context might be dated, but Tagore’s work holds an unabashed mirror to the grimy underbelly of the world’s most celebrated emotion. If there’s one thing we know about James Cameron it’s that he can spend a lot of money on a film to make a lot of money. Take Titanic for example, it cost a phenomenal $200 million dollars to make, and turned a profit of $1.8 billion, but will Avatar be able to match that kind of return? So far, Avatar has had a budget of approximately $237 million, with an additional $500 million spent by 20th Century Fox, which would mean the profit would have to be gargantuan. Will Cameron be able to surpass his previous successes? Or is this movie a huge, expensive gamble? You’ll have to wait to find out. Avatar hits theaters December 18th, 2009.

For Schwartzman’s first time voice acting in the role as Ash in Fantastic Mr. Fox, the experience was far from average. While most voice actors spend their time alone in the recording booth, Schwartzman and the rest of the cast found themselves being recorded as they ran around a farm reading their lines. At this morning’s press day for Fantastic Mr. Fox Schwartzman talked a little about the experience.
"…It’s an incredible way to work because it’s, you know, three days -- or in our case, it was two days," he says. "I think it’s really hard to work in such a short amount of time, because in a movie those first five days are really hard, because everybody’s getting to know each other, and you find that groove, you do begin to learn things. But in a short film, you have to find that groove much more quickly, because you don’t have the second week…"You can watch Schwartzman talk about his character here.
