 The Bahamas Islands Info has posted an article about  'Eye of the Dolphin'. The film stars Carly Schroeder as Alyssa, a 15 year old Los Angelos student forced to go live with her father on a remote island in the Bahamas. The film will be screening at the Regency Theatre on SUNDAY, May 25 at 3:00 p.m.

monterey media is thrilled to announce that Eye of the Dolphin was distinguished as a Honors Award winner in the 2007 National Parenting Publications Awards (NAPPA) Children’s Products competition.

Full results will be announced Nov. 1, 2007, in 40 regional parenting magazines across the country and online at Parenthood.com. This distinction recognizes Eye of the Dolphin as a standout among DVDs available for children today. Now in its 17th year, NAPPA is a well-known name in industries focused on children’s learning and entertainment.

This indie movie has already hooked a sea of critical acclaim, including a “Best Child Actor” award for Carly at the International Family Film Festival! In an unprecedented move for monterey media, the independent studio has moved it's DVD release to January in order to accommodate the enthusiastically requested summer theatrical release of Eye of the Dolphin.

Carly Schroeder (soon to be seen in Gracie) won the Best Child Actor Award at the Int'l Family Film Festival where the film was also honored with the Best Drama Award. The film garnered much attention very recently at Tribeca and the Houston Film Festival where it won the Silver Award in the new Coming of Age category.
