'Passchendaele' opens Cinefest
Published on: September 16, 2008The Sudbury Star has posted an article on 'Passchendaele'. The film recently opened the Toronto Film Festival last week, and has gone on to open for the Cinefest Sudbury International Film Festival Sunday night. Paul Gross wrote and directed 'Passchendaele', was able to secure its $20-million budget, the largest ever for a Canadian film. Gross also shares that on the first day of shooting, 20 extras were sent to hospital because they were showing signs of hypothermia.
