The official title and title treatment for the fourth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise was released today at the Disney D23 Expo. The film will be called Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, and is scheduled for release during the summer of 2011. Although the film is still in the development stage and sports no synopsis or cast, fans of the franchise will be pleased to know that the film will feature the return of Captain Jack Sparrow as played by Johnny Depp.
