MovieSet Exclusive: "POSTAL" Takes on Indiana Jones!
Published on: March 04, 2008After a year of touring film festivals and creating headlines for its insane take on a crazy world, director Uwe Boll's latest movie, the controversial comedy POSTAL, has been given a prime slot at the start of the summer box office season. POSTAL is scheduled to open in movie theaters on May 23 and in direct competition against "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull". While the rest of Hollywood is shying away from the cinematic return of Dr. Jones, Boll and POSTAL are going head-to-head with Steven Spielberg's latest to give audiences a no-holds-barred comedy about the world we live in. MovieSet is breaking the story exclusively about the new release date for Boll's latest film. "On the 'Indiana Jones' weekend - May 23 - we will go out and destroy 'Indiana Jones' in the box office!" says the German-born director. "We all know that Harrison Ford is older then my grandpa and his time is up – as Michael Moore would say!" The Memorial Day weekend has long been considered the start of the summer box office. With its wild, crazy take on 9/11, the hunt for Osama bin Laden and religious cult leaders, POSTAL is going for the jugular in the tradition of classic comedies like "Kentucky Fried Movie", "Amazon Women on the Moon" and "Airplane!". Throughout the lead-up to the debut of POSTAL MovieSet.com will offer you exclusive clips, news and images from the movie. What about it Indy? Are you up to the challenge?
