Synopsis
Betrayed by Vesper, the woman he loved, 007 fights the urge to make his latest mission personal. Pursuing his determination to uncover the truth, Bond and M (JUDI DENCH) interrogate Mr White (JESPER CHRISTENSEN) who reveals the organisation which blackmailed Vesper is far more complex and dangerous than anyone had imagined.
Forensic intelligence links an Mi6 traitor to a bank account in Haiti where a case of mistaken identity introduces Bond to the beautiful but feisty Camille (OLGA KURYLENKO), a woman who has her own vendetta. Camille leads Bond straight to Dominic Greene (MATHIEU AMALRIC), a ruthless business man and major force within the mysterious organisation.
On a mission that leads him to Austria, Italy and South America, Bond discovers that Greene, conspiring to take total control of one of the world’s most important natural resources, is forging a deal with the exiled General Medrano (JOAQUIN COSIO). Using his associates in the organisation, and manipulating his powerful contacts within the CIA and the British government, Greene promises to overthrow the existing regime in a Latin American country, giving the General control of the country in exchange for a seemingly barren piece of land.
In a minefield of treachery, murder and deceit, Bond allies with old friends in a battle to uncover the truth. As he gets closer to finding the man responsible for the betrayal of Vesper, 007 must keep one step ahead of the CIA, the terrorists and even M, to unravel Greene’s sinister plan and stop his organisation.

Just as Quantum of Solace debuts on DVD and Blu-ray around the world, the Herald Sun has posted an extensive interview with Daniel Craig where he discusses exactly what went into making the 22nd James Bond adventure.
“…It’s like a whack in the face and I think that’s what we needed. It takes the story on, it deals with all the unfinished business from Casino Royale plus we’ve booted it up—the stunts look amazing, the locations look fantastic and there’s not a lot of time to breathe. Next time we’ll do something more lyrical…”

ComingSoon has caught up with Bond himself Daniel Craig. Craig shares his thoughts on the reactions on 'Quantum of Solace' and the differences from those of 'Casino Royale'. He also discusses how well recieved his portrayal of Bond is, and wether we can expect him to return in the 23rd installment. Craig goes on to chat about what else he'd like to do with Bond, work between the films, and how he plans on spending the holidays. 'Quantum of Solace' debuted at #1 and pulled in nearly $30 million more over opening weekend than 'Casino Royale'. You can catch the latest Bond film in theaters now.

Rotten Tomatoes has posted an interview with 'Quantum of Solace' star Daniel Craig. Craig talks about still having the same people around despite his huge success attained as the sixth Bond. He also confesses being quite obsessive with work and focusing his attention to his own stunt work. Craig also laughs of his injuries, the exoitc locations, and his talented co-stars.
"...The days of the misogynistic Bond are sort of over. It doesn't stop him from being misogynist at times but if he comes into contact with strong people, not just strong women, but strong people, it is just sexier. It is more interesting if someone challenges him and it is a woman..."
