Synopsis
In the romantic drama Remember Me, Tyler didn't think anyone could possibly understand what he was going through until the day he met Ally through an unusual twist of fate. MovieSet.comMTV News had the chance to talk to Remember Me stars Rob Pattinson and Emily de Ravin about their roles in the upcoming romantic drama that hits theaters March 12th, 2010.
Directed by Allen Coulter, the film centers on two new lovers: Tyler played by Pattinson, whose parents have split in the wake of his brother’s suicide, and Ally played by de Ravin, who lives each day to the fullest since witnessing her mother’s murder.Because the two depict troubled youth in the film, MTV News tried to find out if either of the two felt they had anything in common with their characters.

Pattinson Struggles With Un-Rehearsed Interviews for ‘Remember Me’

Actor Robert Pattinson is breaking free from his role as Edward Cullen in the popular Twilight series to take on more diverse roles to ensure he’s not remembered as a one-trick pony. Unfortunately for Pattinson, the more complex nature of his latest film Remember Me, has left him speechless on several occasions during the films promotional interviews.
“…(With Twilight), I got so used to all the answers. I remember going on Letterman for the New Moon junket and I was terrified. (But) I get asked the same questions all the time so I prepared all my answers just before and I was so comfortable as I walked in. Every little nuance, every little mannerism is all planned out. Now people ask me what the film's about and I'm like, I don't know!...”

Rob Pattinson Fans Back-Off!

Earlier this year crazed Robert Pattinson Fans forced the set of Remember Me to be locked down to stop the constant disruption of production. In response to this, a group of fans created a Respect Me Campaign to promote polite discussions about Pattinson, and dissuade gossip. Recently the Respect Me Campaign wrote Reelz Channel to tell them about their goals.
“…We believe that it is important to remember that celebrities are people too, and deserve to be treated with the basic respect we have all come to expect as human beings. We promote polite, career driven only, discussions about the celebrity in question. We do not condone screaming, chasing, and the general "fan girl" reactions…”
