• Saw VI Star Costas Mandylor on the Franchise’s Smashing Success

  Aussie actor Costas Mandylor has played Lieutenant Mark Hoffman over the last four Saw movies. While investigating the Jigsaw murders Hoffman became evil at the end of SAW IV, and now, in the latest installment, Saw VI, Hoffman struggles to keep his identity a secret, especially when a survivor of the Jigsaw games emerges.
  
  "…The clues and the pieces of the puzzle, that's what given the franchise its longevity," he says. "Certain movies have an impact with lots of blood. But it seems to me the Saw fans are clever. They ask questions and they pay attention to detail. The cerebral part of the series is as magical as the impact of the traps…"
