    Richard Curtis Pirate Radio
Although Writer/director Richard Curtis’ (Love Actually, Bridget Jones's Diary, Four Weddings and a Funeral) Pirate Radio is loosely based on fact, the film is far more of a fictitious re-imagining of the pirate radio fad, than an actual account of true events.  Although Pirate Radio may not be based on a true story, the spirit of the 1960’s is still captured in the film, not only with eclectic clothes, free love and substance abuse, but also by featuring music by a long list of iconic musicians that rocked the era.
