Bio

MICHAEL FRIEDMAN started his career in music management some 18 years ago, Michael secured recording contracts for many internationally known artists. Under his own Vibra Cobra Records imprint, he has licensed records to Universal, London Records and Sony Music. As an author, Mr. Friedman published "Star Tunes" 'Celebrities Reveal Their Top Ten Records’, through Penguin Putnam.

Forming CODA MUSIC in 2003, Mr. Friedman built one of the most successful music supervision and placement agencies in the business today. www.codamusicplacement.com. Coda Music has placed songs in such television shows as The OC, Grey's Anatomy and Friday Night Lights amongst many others. Music Supervision credits for film include, Control, The Covenant, The Stepfather and The People Speak.

Mr. Friedman plans to diversify his creative talents into the world of film production in a newly formed venture with acclaimed producer Orian Williams.

Music Supervisor- Job Description

The music supervisor is primarily responsible for selecting and licensing music for all film, TV and new media productions. Some music supervisors also work independent of particular media companies, offering their services on a contract basis.
