I was referring to the "Joe Blow". Makes a sot feel a f'd up kind of pride having survived this era. Wonder hohw many utes know what happened back then. Slow, weak and those who dealt with suckers didn't make it. Either dirt napping or bitting. Shon did not deserve to fall to this crew. "Rampant criminality" befallen by a piece of drek like Keith R. I was reminiscening about playing semipro football yesterday and recalled Keith being a middle linebacker for a Cleveland team named the "Vikings". Shon woud have decimated KR if they were the same age. F the Irish in Cleveland. Rattin' basterds. Peace.

Shondor - we were driving a maroon 1976 two door Monte Carlo if I remember correctly. We came out of the Bar and noticed the license plates were missing. The car was not stolen - just the two license plates off of it. We always wondered if we were watched going into Brenda's Body Shop that late afternoon or if it was a random theft.

Was it a two tone GM 4 dr? I was at the Nardi scene that afternoon walking to classes at Cleveland State, Used to park on the traffic island by Cedar & Carnegie. It was in May around the 15th. I'd seen the feds raid the union headquarters before but could smell the stench on that hot day. Nardi sure picked a loser dealing with Micth WarBell Jr., Kenny Burnstine and the Miami crew. I believe a local judge's son was mixed up with that ring. Nardi, Graziano, O'Donnell, McTaggart and Ritson were misfits. A few years later, Nardi's kid went Witsec in another scam. R.I.P. to the 'Young Turks'.

I was a US Marine home on leave in the Toledo, Oh area in March of 1977. We were out celebrating my being home and one of the places we stopped at to celebrate at that Sunday was at Brenda's Body Shop in downtown Toledo. When we came out to leave we noticed our license plates were gone. I remember standing on Huron St. talking to the police while they took the report. The plates showed up two months later on a stolen car packed with explosives to kill John Nardi. ATF paid me a visit at Camp Lejeune North Carolina. They had a lot of questions! I have always wondered why our car was chosen to steal the plates from. Wish I could have been an extra in the movie. Good luck! needs2run@yahoo.com

Was nice bringing one of MI's celebrity dogs to The Irishman to star as Fionnula Flanagan's (Colleen)
dog. Forest (aka 'Lady') is already a superstar on the very popular 'Rock 'n Roll Canines' agility performance team. Now he has his own movie credit!

I wanted to be an extra, but had a conflict that day. It sounds like it was a great experience! Does anyone who worked on the Irishman set want to talk about their experience with MLive.com? I'm writing a feature on all this acting and movie work that's coming up lately in Detroit and around Michigan and would love to hear from people who have done it!
